Sam and Alex had both been complaining about their eyes for awhile, but we were two busy getting ready to move across the world to do anything about it. So shortly after we arrived in India, we decided to do something about it. We walked (this was early on when we had no car) across the road to the mall and lined up for eye exams. They are so cheap we just laughed - 80 rupees each - that's $2 if you are keeping track. So everybody got checked but me (doesn't matter if I don't see so well - not getting glasses again any time soon!) and luckily Isaac and Miranda were good, but Sam's prescription was waaaaay off and Alex was well on her way to blind-as-a-bat land.
And, oh what is this? the old guy needs BIFOCALS!!!!! Hahahaha! I hope you can hear my hsyterical laughter! So we ponied up for new glasses all around. Sam's glasses are kind of plain-jane boring but Alex's are very cute purple ones. Typically, if you see an Indian with glasses they are very stylish ones. Randy's new ones gave him some trouble at first (what with being bifocals and all) but now that he is used to them he wears them all the time at the computer and to watch TV.

Glasses are a pain but I like the looks of them on both you Alex, and you Randy.
